I was cleaning the office & filing away 08's business stuff, and I found my receipt for the 08 HH 150 I bought for one of my sons in June; $2099 + tax & lic. = $2317.00 -- Thread is titled "Price for Twister 150"; is not the SS, but gives the price I paid for the GT. It has been an excellent buggy, zero issues, build is almost identical to the Carter GSR150, it has a tilt steering wheel settup (a bonus over the GSR). I did have to build new seat mt brackets (to slide forward more) probably not neccasary for others, but this was for our 13 yr old whom has kinda short legs (& Down Syndrome). Bright orange, he loves it (priceless), we call it his Turbo Pumkin (dont have a turbo, just a nick name he calls himself on his vid game profiles). Give it a clean air filter every so often & and Gas (lots of gas, only cause he rides it alot ).
Comparison Carter vs HH, almost identical, our GSR is modded and now makes much better power over the GT (only because its still stock tho), but in stock trim... Identical GY6 engine, drive system, etc, except for speedo & dual tail lites came w/the GSR; along with the extra $1200 on the price tag... The HH 150GT has all the same potential for modds as the Carter -- I highly reccommend the HH.

hack... I gathered up my crew to get you a compare pic. You'll notice in the pic a few differences, mostly cosmetic.
The Engine, drive train & components, Front struts & A arms, rear swingarm, & even the stock shocks are all the same...
The diffs... first as to the structural integrity; the only difference I can find is in the roll cage bracing, the GSR (Carter) has an extra side bar that I feel is important - this may matter to you !! (I need to build & install this on the GT as my son has now become a better/more confident driver). The frame is built from same gauge steel, a few variances in the front of cockpit framing (but no lack of strength on either), the back rack slightly diff, but both functional & usable; there may be a slight wt. diff but very lit'l if any--in stock trim. The dash is differant, the GT didnt come stock w/blinkers, horn, mirror, or speedometer, but did come stock w/the shade tarp-nice touch. The OEM wheels are the same bolt pattern, but the GT tires = front 19x7-8, rear 21x10-10; the GSR fr. 20x7-8 (swaped these for 22x8-10 for better sand play) rear 22x10-10. Fenders came stock on both, same mt. etc. The seats are diff (I prefer the GT here, plusher & will drain mud/water thru the back). My overall opinion... the HH GT has been a great rig, low maint, well built, & very much Modifyable !! if I were to purchase another 150cc for the same purpose-my kid's buggys-I would go w/the GT. All the lit'l extras the GSR came with are not worth the extra $1200 I paid (in 2007).
PS; Id have a different opinion if we were talking about the Carter GTR250 or 300
