Great videos! The Protolite has more suspension than I thought from watching your dirt track videos. Looks like a nice smooth ride on the dunes. Hope to see them in person next year. You go there often?

Guy, Thanks Yes that has been a common mis-conception that we are only flat track racers. I guess because thats the only video I've posted for years We designed these to be very universal, and are real pleased with how they perform in different terrains. They are a blast in the sand and very stable. I am not afraid to crank the wheel hard at hi rates of speed,,,,,it just takes it.
We have around 14-15 of travel, and can easily change our setup from the track to the dunes. Takes about 10 minutes or less.
Seems like we only make it up to the dunes a few times a year, but every year is different. I would like to get up there when yourself & other buggy guys can make it. But that will be next year.
I have always admired and envied your Protolight. I always felt it had the just right proportions of design, style, engineering and performance. Really is an exceptional machine. I too had the misconception of thinking it was mainly set up for flat tracks only. The sand video shows some real versatility and potential. Give me a vid demonstrating it's ability to handle the mud, hills and other obstacles of trail systems and rally courses. I then would be looking for something around here to sell, just to raise some cash
Mud,,,,,,done that in a crazy mud race. Never again. Hours & hours of cleaning. It was crazy mud though. 4" deep on one of the tracks we race,,,,and pouring rain.
Hills & trails we have played on and had a blast. Up in the Baldwin trail system. Some mud there, but not an issue. I think a ralley course would be fun.

I really like the look of this machine. It has a nice clean look as well as an aggressive stance. I wish I had 25G to get one of your best set ups. Very nice buggy..
25K would be if someone wanted a hayabusa 1300 with reverse, and even higher end shocks.
My personal car ,the black & silver #17 is the model with the 17K price tag.
We are always willing to work with peoples budgets & capabilities. Some like to finish the cars themselves.
If someone wanted to paint or powder coat the chassis them selves & finish body panels & graphics I could get the price down. So basically a (bare metal-no body panels) running, driveable GSXR 600cc buggy, I could get down to 15K
I should probably post this in the for sale section, but this thread seems more relevant.
This buggy (#17) is for sale, and on Ebay. I hate to sell it, but I am getting ready to start building the next generation of our single seat race buggy, and need to finance the build by selling my personal car. I will be documenting the next build on line, and plan on releasing plans for the home builder when the next generation build is finished, and the plans are complete.
