I got MAYBE 2 hours out of my Dr. Pulley Hit clutch, and i wasn't beating on it either. Worked great for the first hour and then got a bit grabby on take-off. Went for ride yesterday and knew something wasn't right. Took clutch out and bell housing was blue on one area. A buddy was holding clutch looking at it and a clutch pad fell off!
Over $200 wasted on JUNK! You can't replace just the pad, but have to purchase a whole new clutch! Guess this a known problem with these. I put the stock clutch back in and all is good again.
My advise is to NOT waste your money on the Dr. Pulley clutch. Other BN members have had problems with them and apparently trying to get Dr. Pulley to do anything is a waste of time. Besides, why would you want to replace a piece of garbage with another piece of garbage?

I also will not be handling DR.Pulley products until they get their product in order. I have 3 of them installed from the first promo with James Lee and they so far are working well. However I have one which went bad for the customer with less than 5 hours on it. I have corresponded with Dr. Pulley and was told the parts would be sent to me to repair clutch,in which I instructed Dr. Pulley to send parts to MRP since they have the broken clutch . I was told the parts would be on the way to MRP , I received an e-mail from Joel that he has yet to receive any parts for the clutch. Now it sounds to me that DR Pulley is only interested in taking hard earned US dollars and will not stand by their product. Paul if you are monitoring this postl feel free to explain the situation TOM

Hi Tom, i know what you concern and from following mails you should know i already promised to send you one set free clutch shoes. But you said " sending the clutch shoes to MRP " so i need to wait the MRP's order to ship you part together .That's why it takes so long. Finally the "free clutch shoes" was delivered already to MRP.You can contact me if you still have any problem.
Sorry to make you feel inconvenient. Paul

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. On Wednesday I had talked to Joel and he assured me that Jonathan was mistaking when he told me the clutch had been sent back to you.-- So I would perfer to take what I believe to be the correct way and have you send to him the new shoes you earlier offered for free. ---

Yes I have talked to MRP and was told the parts are in and I should receive the clutch this week. As I talk to a couple other dealers they also have had problems and are as frustrated as I. As I have stated before I believe in the product. I have recently compared results of the HIT clutch to the Malosi clutch and will say the Malosi clutch is one fine clutch but for comparison the HIT in my opinion beats out the Malosi. However as I also stated before when some one puts out that much money for your clutch they expect to be taken care of when and if the clutch prematurely fails, and the dealer cannot afford to warranty the product on his own cause there just isn't enough profit margin for him to do so. Some will point fingers at the distributor and some at you, there is plenty of blame to go around and the dealer is put in the middle of it all. I strongly feel some agreement must be reached between your company and the distributors to resolve this issue or you will be loosing out on a very viable market. Thanks for your help in this matter. TOM
