more proof that computer fan's in fancy casings dont work!

We had a huge discussion on BN awhile back about turbo's and super chargers. Espically the electric ones.

there are turbos out there for 1.0 liter engines that are less than 200 bucks. if you have everything else hooked up why not buy the turbo charger and finish the job. :)

The way I see it if you can cram enough air into the engine whether its a true turbo or electric it will work.

Even the 1 psi e-ram would have worked to a certain degree with the correct carburetor setup.

The stock carb on the 650 did not play nice with e-ram, it actually forced the fuel back out of the jet starving the engine.

Now I am not no expert on turbos but I suspect that's why the turbo kits come with a different carb and cost so much.

AFTER TAKING APART THIS JOYNER 650 AND REDOING EVERYTHING. I HAD PROBLEMS IN THE BEGINING BUT WITH SOME HELP AND SEEING HOW IT WORKS GOT IT FIXED. I HAVE PLENTY OF KNOWLEDGE ON MOTORS THIS IS MY FIRST TIME WITH TURBO SETUP. I DONT SEE WHY PEOPLE THAT WHAT A TURBO SETUP JUST BUY THE PARTS THATS ALL THIS KIT WAS. AND IT WAS A EARLY MODEL FROM WHAT I WAS TOLD. GO TO GARRETT TURBOS AND CHECK IT OUT EVEN SHOWS YOU HOW IT WORKS. I GOT MINE WITH ONE AND IT WAS POORLY ROUTED AND DONE. REDID ALL THE HOSES AND TUBES. I WILL POST PICTURES OF THE SETUP TO SHOW HOW SIMPLE IT IS BOLTED TO THE MOTOR.
