ya know, i hate it when people say their really gonna do this or do that for ya. so many promises, offers to help, yada yada yada. well, i had about 5 sponsors all lined up to help with this weekends event. they were going to offer some of their products, not expensives one, but, at least some, for different contest and such. well, they started to dwindle a bit last month, and now, the very last one, which was going to be the major one, did not ship them out yet. i may get them sometime next week they say. WHAT'S THE FRIGGIN USE, THEN????? i was hoping to be able to pass out some free tshirts, posters, a couple of parts for bikes/scooters/buggys, maybe a free membership or two and even some free bottles of my fuel reformulator. but, no, now, my sponsors have quit on me. i guess they like to get their names out there without having to put anything in there. all this does is pi$$ me off and i probably wont have anything to do with them. so, i apologize on their accounts. you know what, i dont care, i just want to ride and have fun with my friends. that's what it's all about anyway. but i do appreciate the sponsors on the bike side. thank you.

Man that sucks.I guess they dont realize how easy they can tarnish a name these days.I notice you did'nt put there names out there though.

When I read your post I went into a panic, because I couldn't (can't) remember if I agreed to sponsor the event or not!

I checked all my PMs and I don't see any where we were talking about it, but I sincerely apologize if I have forgotten to send anything if I had agreed to. I just don't recall at this point!

I hope I'm not on the list! PM me if I'm experiencing premature Alzheimer's and was going to help out with the event.

dustbuggy(mike), no, man. you were'nt one. i didnt know your business well enough to even ask you for co-sponsorship. these were folks i had worked with personally. some are not even on here. but, i really appreciate the concern. i really do. some others, which i really dont want to name, took the slack road. so, let it be at that.
