Hello, I would like to get the most from my new "Blade", I bought an aftermarket air filter and will have to modify my exhaust I believe. I also read that I could bore a #56 drill bit hole in my jet and would get more gas flow (power). This sounds good. Is there any pictures of this on this web site and is there any other simple modification I can do? Thanks so much. Looks like I am going to hang up my golf clubs this year, this stuff is wild.. :P

Another NorthEasterner! Welcome to the board.

Basically you sound like you are on the right track.

If you don't want to drill.. just get a new jet.

There is a rejetting Sticky thread here in this forum at the top.

Beyond this, getting the head milled, getting different weight CVT rollers, the new East Side performance cam, a performance CDI for a little bit better low end, the NGK iridium plugs, etc.

Red back in the mod forums and use the search function and I'm sure you'll find this stuff.

Thanks for the tip, I will try to buy the new jet but if I can't I will just drill it. I also had a question on the size of the drill bit, a #56 drill bit. I have not seen one. The closest I have seen to that size is a 5, 56. Am I looking in the right places? :?

roco,

Go to a honda shop or any ATV place and buy some jets. They are 1-2 dollars each and a far better choice than possibly getting some shavings in your engine. If you buy a range of them, you can tune for your riding conditions. At 1800-2500 feet use a 125 for starters.

At below 500 feet try a 130 or 135.

I just found that the average Sea Level for Ohio is 850 feet. I wonder if the stock East Side 135 jet would actually run good here? So that means in theory my buggy should run faster than anybody with thinner oxygen with the same engine parts? Send all your thick rich oyxgen down to our state, my Buggy needs it for a few extra MPH ! :)

I am at 31 ft and put a 135 jet in all the blades i sell with eastside kit.In really cool air I have put a 147 1/2 in it and it does not flood. At the temps we get now I could go to a 125 and it will run a little better but the temp on the motor go up a little to much.I have jets from a 120 to 167 1/2 so I can play a little. In really good air in oct or nov here we get adj.alt. of 250 and 500ft, below .James

Wow... you got that kind of price? A lot of the places around here want at least $6 each for them... and some 8 to $10.

Lucky you.
