got a goodie in the mail today. a dvd from RidgeRunner. all was on it was a 10 minute segment in sand and a 10 minute segment on rocks, big rocks. i must say, i was impressed. i've seen rock crawlers here in the mtns, but these RR's impressed me. JGeorge, you have a good buggy. i'm jealous, well, not really, dont want to give you a bigger head.  just kidding.
but i do like the RR. They are really neat.

I'm all about being one with nature. 8)

Anyhow, we'll spend some time in the sand and some on the trails.
It'd be cool to have some more folks out there. We also ride ATV's, so bring your bikes, quads, buggies, etc.

BTW: Here's a couple pics from Glamis a few weeks ago...

We're hitting Pismo Beach/Oceano Dunes over Memorial.

Great pics there!

Really nice air on the RR.

Did someone get hurt there?

Unfortunately, some kid wasn't being watched, took off on a quad without a helmet and launched off the top of the razorback. He broke his collarbone for sure, don't know if there were any internal injuries. It really sucks when stuff that is so avoidable, happens. There was absolutely no reason for it to happen.

The RR handles the air pretty good. It's a pretty steep run right there too, makes it more interesting, but does provide for a nice landing.

I was just thinking that must be a busy place for paramedics. Looks like they have it well covered with the police buggy there.
