My husband and I bought a SUNL manufactured Fun-Kart Ranger 150 from Right Way ATV for our daughter for Xmas. We ordered it in October so we'd have plenty of time to get it by Xmas. Up until the time they received my check, everything was fine. They answered the phone, answered emails, returned calls. Once my check was cashed, the trouble started. They never answered the number on their website, they didn't return phone messages and they wouldn't answer emails. It took 2 months for the go-kart to be delivered. When it was finally delivered, it was the wrong go-kart. It was smaller and about $600 cheaper than the one I had paid for. When I called to talk to somebody, the phone went unanswered. I immediately sent an email and told them I'd contact a lawyer if I didn't hear from somebody right away and get what I paid for. Immediately, I got a phone call from Sam Brown and Jay Lassiter. I was told that my go-kart was shipped to someone else and theirs came to us, and the problem would be fixed right away. Right Way or SUNL (not sure which) contacted the trucking company to pick up the go-kart. R&L Carriers picked it up a couple of days later. I was told that once the manufacturer received the wrong go-kart back, mine would be shipped. This took about another 2 weeks. Finally, we received the go-kart, and thought everything was fine. Imagine our suprise when we received a bill for $943.66 from R&L Carriers for return shipping of the go-kart. We are being told by them that SUNL told them we were the shipper. Since when does the consumer pay to return something they didn't order. I have gone round and round with Right Way ATV, Jay Lassiter and Sam Brown. Sam Brown keeps telling me to call SUNL and SUNL keeps telling me they don't deal with Right Way anymore and it's not their problem. I've told Sam Brown that I bought the go-kart from Right Way ATV, I wrote the check to Right Way ATV and Right Way ATV cashed the check, and it is their responsibility to fix this. Now, I'm being contacted by a collection agency because Sam Brown will not take care of his responsibilities and get this bill taken care of. He tells me he prepaid the shipping. How can you prepay for something that shouldn't have happened in the first place? Now I'm being forced to contact a lawyer because this could affect my credit. The other problem is that this $2000 go-kart we purchased doesn't run half the time. We paid $119 extra for the one year extended warranty and can't get service because nobody answers the phone. The tail pipe busted. We couldn't get ahold of anyone, so my husband fixed it. The carburetor is also leaking gas all over the place. I finally spoke to Jay Lassiter who told me to send back the part. I've done that, but I'm not hopeful that I'll ever see it again, and, if by some miracle I do, when that might be. The battery is always dead, too. Everytime my daughter rides it, we have to charge the battery. And the worse part is, you have to pay $11.00 shipping and return the part before you get the new one. Our neighbors purchased their go-kart from Sam's Club and have no problems whatsoever. They call the company and the company sends them new parts, no questions asked and no need to return the defective parts. Unfortunately, when we purchased our daughter's go-kart Sam's Club wasn't selling the go-kart anymore and didn't know if they would again. BUYER BEWARE.....IF YOU'RE IN THE MARKET FOR A GO-KART, ATV, OR SCOOTER, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM RIGHT WAY ATV, SUNL, SCOOTER TOWN, OR ANYBODY ASSOCIATED WITH ANY OF THESE COMPANIES. I wish I would have researched better before I made the mistake.

First off, you should never buy one of these things with a check, as there is very little recourse, and there are so many slime balls out there, that there are very few you can actually trust. All those slime balls should be taken out and shot, but due to the fact that this country now coddles those type of people, something like they had a bad child hood or some other BS, or their priest molested them. Your best bet is to buy from an actual physical location, like Sams Club, and pay with a credit card. If that slime ball idiot is located in your state, take the moron to small claims court. It does not cost much, and it's the only thing you can really do, short of showing up on his door step. As to the shipping, did you sign something that said you would pay shipping? If you did not, the credit collector has no case. Read this forum for good sources. Edge, Blade, and TJ all have good reputations, as I can vouch for two of them, and Edge has been given praise all over this forum.

We actually used a Visa check from our bank because the interest rate was better and we thought we would have the same rights as if we had used our Visa. That is not the case. I guess you live and learn. Yes, court will probably be the next step. The lawyer has said we can either wait and let collections take it to court and file a cross claim against Right Way or pay the $943 and take Right Way to small claims court. We can take him to small claims court even if he isn't in our state. Unfortunately, when we were looking for the go-kart Sam's Club wasn't selling them anymore, and told us they had been discontinued, and we couldn't find anywhere in our area to purchase. That is why we ended up purchasing online. I have purchased thousands of things online and have never had a problem. I guess we just didn't research enough this time.
I bought a 90cc go kart from them last summer and also had a number of problems. Bolts always came off while riding, the exhaust snapped in half, the battery crapped out after a month, the lights didnt work and like you the carberator leaked gas. Also, the bolts for the roll cage didnt come with it so i ended up using the bolts from the cage it was shipped in.
When i 1st started having problems with the carberator they responded quickly and just sent me a new one. But after that it was all down hill. Emails went unresponded like you. I eventually gave up and my uncle helped me get the thing running. But recently it finally just gave out. Lasted a whole 8 months, 7 months of which it wasnt running.
