???
To answer your ? about removing the vin, in theory yes.
But what if they have seen these with a VIN? You are going to look very suspicious.
Do you have a C or 3 in the 8th digit of the vin?

well you dont want to change to a 3, c or 3 in the 8th spot is an automatic red sticker.
But before you change it, you might want to have your "new vin" checked by chp, it would really suck to change it to a number that has been reported stolen

If you transfer the vehicle in from out of State, all the DMV seem to care about is that there is no C or 3 in the 8th digit of the vin. If the is no C or 3, you should get a green sticker.

I live in New Mexico, So what happens if i show up in Glamis with my GK-32 800cc that does have a c in the 8th spot in the vin and start riding? Will they site me, and make me put it back on the trailer? What if I replace the motor with one of the new fuel injected motors, which are supposed to meat regulation?

Have expensive gas will travel! I am originally from there, so it's on the way for the most part to visit family. You can't register buggy's out hear either. But i have no problems riding in quite a few areas.
