OK, like some other people here I found this site too late. I own a Roketa GK-19. I have had it alittle over 1 year. No much trouble until last weekend. I broke the right side motor mount . See pictures below.
If you guys don't mind I would like some advice on repairing this. Also while I have it all apart now, I think I will go ahead with some Mods. So if yall don't mind tell me what I should do???
Thanks ahead for all the help. I will do some searches to see what all I can do to it. It was runnig real good until I broke it, alittle slow out of the hole but pulled hills pretty good, topped out about 45 mph.

OK 78 views and no one can help me????? Most of the time everyone jumps all over these. But for some reason no help!!! Also I tried to order from Blade "what ever" and they turned my AMEX card down. Checked it ON- LINE status good. When to Wal-Mart 15 minutes after no problem. All I ask for was a little help, a little advice but nothing. I guest I will do as always I'll take care of it myself. May post some pics after I'm finished. Thats all yall want to see wrecks and flips, what about US that can drive??? Well I quest I vented enough... Should have BOUGHT a CARTER the BEST.
I will rebuilt it all if I have to the motor runs GOOD.

You have to give it a little time and let the guys that are handy with the welder see the thread. You may want to put something about welding in the thread, as that will make sure the right folks read it.
All you have is the name of the buggy for a tittle and that doesn't give readers much to go on. I almost didn't read this for that reason.

That's a little harsh! Guess it comes down to what you want to spend and or what your resources are. You could just weld everything and reinforce it, but it probably won't last. If you have access to a good fabricator you could replace the top tube with stronger square tube. Best bet? See if flipper, still has that new kart he was selling that didn't have an engine. Drop your 250 in that. (I'm sure I remember him posting it for sale)

Thanks Jabo, I got a little too upset at my buggy last night, these Roketa are some cheap made s***. But as I said earlier I found this site too late. I already had it. I think I'm going to rebuild the top half of the swingarm. I may want this buggy to do more than even a Carter could do, but for about 4 hours this weekend I was hanging with 5 four-wheelers all of which were 250cc and larger. They could not beleve how good it ran and pulled hills. Anyway sorry for the bad post, I try not to do that anymore. But if the BLADE GUY see the other post I would still like to buy a UNI filter and some jets from him, the on-line store was not working or something last nite.

im4seven has a good idea if you want to go that route.
In the 3rd picture, it doesn't even look like the weld penetrated. I think I would cut off that c-channel right above the weld. Get a piece of plate to fit under it (on top of the square tubing), weld the plate to the tube, then the c-channel to it.
That tab will be trickier. The strongest method would be to cut off that tab the rest of the way. Cut that tube straight through an inch or so towards the middle of the frame of the rip. Find a tube/pipe with the outer diameter the same as the ID of the existing tube of the frame. You will slide the new tube inside the tubing as far into the bend as possible and have enough on the other side of the cut. You will need to have pre-drilled some holes in the existing tube/frame to where you can see the new tube. After all of that, weld it up, including those plug holes. Then grind smooth. Now get some plate and drill/cut a new tab. This is assuming there is enough grab to weld on by the bend. This is the strongest way to repair it.
Another option is to start by cutting off the tab. Make sure everything is clean and ground smooth. Find a piece of pipe/tube that the ID is the same OD as the existing tube. Cut that tube in half long ways and weld it over that hole. Then get new plate for a tab, cut and drill to fit and weld it in.
I hope that makes sense. If you don't have a welder or access to one, get all of the other work done first (cutting, drilling, etc.). I would think you could take it all down to a shop and get the welding done for $100 or less (cash).

Sorry to hear about your problems, A year before the Brak is pretty good, as it looks like the weld was very poor to begin with. I am fairly sure that you can fix that problem and be up and running pretty fast though. I have seen some amazing work done by welders if you don't want to attemp it yourself, and it can be fairly inexpensive. we have had welding done here for under $100 that is excellant.
As for my page, I am looking into it, The only thing I can think of off of the top of my head would be the shipping address. We were ripped off earlier this year for thousands of dollars by stolen credit cards, so now everybody suffers. We only ship to the billing address. Also a glitch in our system now lets people place out of stock items into their cart and then at checkout it doesnt proccess. Or simply it could have been that the server or Amex connection was down. Either way, I am sorry for the trouble. We do accept phone orders too, and 90% + of the time we ship out the same day, so feel free to call us. 1-888-44-BLADE
Good luck with your repairs, I wish I could be more help, but welding is not something that I am good at for sure.... I wish I had more time to learn it but....

I went with "bugspray34" fixes, I use both suggestions I put soild bar in the center of the tubing and 3/16 x 1 1/2" angle outside for support. Painting right now will put up some pics when done. If it breaks now I'm doing something wrong when riding.
