I hear soo much about how Roketa sucks and after sale is bad and parts are hard to get, but is it Roketa that sucks or the dealers who sells it? I am looking to get one soon from Emrockatv.com and seen good things about them. Is there a better dealer online to buy from?

Hi Kevin,
I can't speak to the quality of Emrockatv, but one good thing I found out about them is that they DON'T have a lot of unhappy customers posting on the Internet. I couldn't find a single complaint about them, so they're doing something right!
As for Roketa quality, they're not the worst, but they're not in the top 5, either. You'll probably be happy with the purchase, but be aware that you may have to change out the main jet in the carburetor right away. A couple of new Roketa owners here on Buggy News were having a lot of trouble with their brand new Roketas driving sluggish and slow. Turns out they had tiny #102 jets from the factory when they should have been running a #115 or higher (stock air box).
Just keep it in mind that you may have to do some mods right away to get it to perform properly the way it should have from the start.
My Roketa was the same way, and I only found out through the process of modding it how improperly tuned it was from the factory.
Just some things to consider before you purchase...

BEWARE of EMROCK! He talks a big game but when he gets your money he'll be done with you. After sale support is almost non exsistant. His mechanic is a really nice guy but has no formal training and for this he charge $90 an hour. Read the threads for yourself (below). He boasts a 30 day labor warranty, what he doesn't tell you is that part will take about just over that, and then you will have to pay for it anyway. Even read what the owner said himself (end of second thread) His reponse doesn't include all the facts but the most important part is that you see his attitude that once you leave his shop with your new buggy it becomes you problem not his. Yes I was getting impatient, that's because he told me to be at the shop at 1 p.m. to pick up my buggies and yet I didn't leave the shop with them until about 7:30 p.m. He never told me to leave the buggy to check on it further. Infact he told me to take it home and run it and the carb problems would clear up. Read these threads. You owe it to yourself before you spend this kind of money. I know his prices are good but I don't want to tell you later that I told you so. If you don't listen to this warning then don't take his word on anything. Get everything in writting. His word means nothing
