:D Well, not really, but I did get your attention. I did notice on the front page though, that you listed every buggy but Roketa. Do you really not like us that much? Just a point, with a tease behind it.

Sure it is an easy one to miss when you are trying to work a full time job, moderate, and keep a forum working. We all appretiate the work.

Thanks again!

Roketa was never popular here at buggynews for it's reputation. One is parts, the other is power of the 150cc or lack of.That is the reason I asked if there has been any improvements ,that you have already found and read in Recent topics on the front page.I know nothing about Chinese buggys, my Manco 640L is American made with a Subaru engine,so I cannot be a judge.I'm basing on what I've read about Roketa. Not trying to be negative. mancoman

Wasnt try to start a quality war, just make the point. As for Roketa, as an owner, I see no difference between them and any other Chinese unit. I have had no issues, and have been quiet thrilled with over 200 hours in 3 months of use.

Guess I stepped the boundary than, Roketa not liked. Well than laer dudes!!

where on the front page are you refering to? we might can add roketa to the " click on your buggy poll " if thats what you are talking about. I dont remember how that one got started.

some roketa are ok, the smaller ones like the 110 or 90 are problematic, and I know some dealers have toruble getting parts for them.

Personally....I'd recommend that one AVOID Roketa aka Terminator aka Goldenvale aka Powersportsmax.
This is a company that cares absolutely nothing about post sale support.

I think our good friend USMC was referring to the "choose your buggy" poll which didn't list Roketa as an option - and was making a joke over how Roketa owners aren't welcome here.

Roketa has some good buggies....and some that aren't so good.
My point is this......if you order online....don't expect any post sale support...Roketa/Goldenvale/Terminator/PowersportsMax is about as sleazy as they come. Yes I will admit, that on one some models, they finally have added some parts support, but I have extensive experience dealing with these people and it's not good when you're busting you rear end trying to get parts for a customer.....they simply don't care.

I've never felt unwelcome here. I understand that the buggy I have would not be recommended highly, but I have never felt left out because I have a Roketa buggy.

I agree that there is no mention of them on the front page, or in the poll, and that folks often recommend that others not buy them, but the good part is that I haven't been ostracized for having one.

I have been on boards where if you didn't have the "right stuff" you would be ridiculed as a stupid noob, and eventually run off the board. I have not seen that happen here.

I bought my buggy because it was cheap, and because I could ascertain that it would fit me before I bought it. I knew what I was getting into when I got it, and although I have spent some cash overcoming some of the deficiencies, I am happy with my buggy overall.
