How can you change the color or blocking color of the words within
a search result? For example: I search on performance mods,
and all the posts with the phrase performance mods are returned with that phrase blocked out in yellow with white lettering. Its sort of hard for me to see with the white letters blocked with yellow. Can I change the color?

I concur. it's very hard to read!

I usually highlight the page easier to see the contrast.

I'll see if there is a way to change it in the admin panel.
