Old timers set in again, guess the video would be nice.

Packard Performance's video. You just have to go thru their list, I didn't see the link when I watched it.

You guys may be interested in some of these videos, here are some really quick Yama's.

Just got back from Windrock in Tn and didn't see a single YXZ there. I did see a few X3s there. This is a park with mild to very extreme technical trail riding. A lot of the more technical stuff were below 5mph.

It does look like you have a fair amount of wear in that cylinder. That dark area at the top is wear and shows me that the cylinder is tapered. It will run better but you may want to start saving your pennies for a new cylinder kit for later. Just keep in mind that the more you hone it the bigger it...

The 500 tanks have three connections, delivery, return and a vent hose at the top. I would keep it low if possible. I have had problems with them up high draining back down into the engine.

Wow would not have recognized you, congrats. As for throttle cable I got one from Buggyparts NW for my builds. I can't help you on the clutch cable, never built one with that. ( I am too lazy for a clutch according to Ghost) Looks like your friends are doing a nice job on that. You may actually get ...

I have gusseted the front lower control arms. This does make them a lot stronger but the problem is you now move the fail point to another area. In my case it was the heim joints at the body. The rear control arms aren't too bad. I have only damaged one and that was nasty multiple roll over on a hil...

Do yourself a favor before you run it any more. Pull the cover off the water pump impeller and see if you can turn it. If you can then it is more than likely you have lost the snap ring that holds the sprocket on the shaft. The other thing to know is that this also turns the oil pump so if you have ...

That is a nice buggy and a good candidate for that swap. You will like that combination. Not the power that the 500Ho has but much better than what was in there. You will like the swap.

The plug will fire every time the piston comes up to top dead center whether or not it is on compression stroke or exhaust stroke.

I called today and she said we could bring generators. I think they need to keep their stories straight.

I take it that we don't need to reserve campsites? And that this is primitive camping kind of like Moonlight? Is that a deal breaker? I dropped the ball on this little gathering, but then I figured we were all big enough to search the site and find out phone #'s, camping, riding rules etc. To the be...

Papa, I love to fabricate things and think outside of the box. However, it makes no sense in reinventing the wheel, especially if it has a flat spot. Do you have a thread on all of the 250 mods that you did? One area that I am also looking at is the CDI. I was told by a reputable source that many o...

Been through all your doing now. The problem I had with the cam is getting specs on mine so I could degree it in. Yes I did mill the head down, a lot in fact. One of the things you have to address also in milling the head down is you lose some or all of the squish area on the head depending on how m...
