Well my friend decided to get a new aftermarket stock cylinder/piston kit through the dealer. We located a bunch online, but it's always a crapshoot if they are any good. So the dealer calls today, the cylinder is out of round, needs a bore. It had one done in 2004 under warranty, so this would be the last bore available for the cylinder. There's also an aftermarket cylinder/piston kit for about the same money. Any thoughts on which way to go? Sorry I can't help ya ...

There is a unused black wire. I'm pretty sure its the stator. I ordered the stator and the fly puller. I will verify the problem before I throw parts in. Can the regulator burn out the coil?
