Dang I like the way you guys think. I have to admit to having a small collection of buggys and yes we have a little ground to ride them on. The only down side to this is after the Son and soninlaws and friends and grandkids and their friends leave than I get the job of putting them all back together...

Did you trailer that thing somewhere before riding it? If so if you didn't shut the fuel off you may have a crankcase loaded up with fuel from the float bouncing in the carb. I had this happen in my HH once.

I thought I had the fix for that. I must have misunderstood the guy I get my HH parts from. I had thought he told me at one time HH used rotors that were too small in diameter and that was the cause of the problem you are seeing. I talked to him again the other day and he said he didn't know of that...

Did you sale your Joyner 250 and only keep HHs? Are you planning to replace the Joyner with something different?[/quote]

No I just bought a Joyner, I haven't even picked it up yet. No I plan on keeping my HHs. I want the Joyner to do a Polaris 500 swap into it.

I know there are some HH out there where the pads stick out over the edge of the rotor. What happens as the pads wear they start to touch at the area not contacting the rotor. The caliper is pressing but the pads can't apply any pressure on the rotor due to the area outside of the rotor circumferenc...

I agree Greg, we found that to be true with my HH wanabe. We put bigger tires in the rear with a much more agressive tread and found the it pushes the front a lot more. Where we use to be able to get the back to come around it doesn't do it easily anymore.

Have you run a compression check on your engine? I would look at that, you may have the valves adjusted correctly but still not have a valve seated for one reason or another.
