any time you mess with air flow through the engine performance will be affected one way or the other. intake, carb, pipes, exhaust....it's all a game of fine tuning it to see what works best for your needs.

there really isn't much to do if you are leaving it sit all winter. my suggestions: 1. check coolant to make sure it's green (not just water or weak) 2. add some fuel additive to the fuel system for storage (stabil, etc.) 3. put the buggy up on jack stands to take the weight off of the suspension &a...

more than likely your float needle is stuck open or the float itself is stuck. the only way fuel gets in the carb is through that opening where the needle is.

Got a little education this past weekend on these. Found that if the rubber guide block is missing on the shift rod that goes from the shifter to the linkage at the engine these will not shift properly. This is the rubber block that is mounted on the frame just behind the seats on one of the cross ...

There is engine oil in the engine, and there is trans oil in the cvt and diff oil in the diff. The diff is separate to the cvt obviously. The cvt has it's own fill and drain points. CVT means Continuously Variable Transmission. It uses a belt and adjustable pulleys to transmit power. The pulleys gr...

add fluid? the CVT is the variable transmission (variator, belt, clutch) the only fluid would be either the gear box (transmission) or the engine. if you have a leak inside your CVT cover it's either an engine crank seal or the transmission output seal. it should be dry inside the CVT cover when you...

if you decide to keep that swing arm rear suspension it will still be a little rough on your back compared to the IRS of the HH250. you would be doing quite a bit of fab work to change your yerf over to IRS. have you thought about just looking for a buggy with IRS and weigh that against the cost of ...

four bolts hold it to the bracket. take those off. then take off the little cotter pin that hold the link rod to the shifter rod. you need to take the nut/cable connection loose from the shifter and pull it out of the shifter case. there will be a pawl on the end of the cable with teeth on it. if yo...

i'm going to throw something out here and may be silly but i want to cover all bases. you know that there is a safety mechanism built into these shifters that requires you to depress the brake pedal BEFORE shifting gears, right? that brake cable pulls on a pawl in the shifter to disengage the teeth ...
