I would start off with checking your ground wire from the battery and connections. Is the battery fully charged?

Closest lodging is less than 15 minutes away. And it was pretty cheap, iirc.

Well I scoured the interwebs a bit and what I had found on some forums is that the width restriction is not enforced. Folks have indicated they talked to the park ranger, and it's not an issue. SxS's go there frequently. Take that for what it's worth. I guess to be absolutely sure, we'd want to call...

Can someone verify if we can get our rides into Finger Lakes? They used to have that 50" limit and their website still says that. Not sure why they'd have that restriction, it would limit their park from a ton of riders.

It looks like we have some interest in this. I guess the next thing is what is a good location for this ride? Do we want to try some place new or one of our tried and true locations? We just have to keep in mind that we pick a place to ride that is friendly to 150/250 suspension buggies ( and the o...

I recall my last buggy, with the same mods, being in about the same spot. I didn't have to make any changes, though. I do recall someone filing a bit off of the adjuster so it would move over a hair more.

Yea it seems like it's underpowered it probably needs a carb rebuild or something but I looked at that other thread and my low gear looks identical to that one. I need new shift forks and a secondary shaft but I only found one website that had them and it's like 300$ for it. If you know of any webs...

Barely moves in high? That sounds like a different problem. Is your clutch hooking up?

Dang Ron, you really need to hang on to that thing. I am hoping to get a Back To Our Roots Ride later this year. It will be a Chinese buggy ride only. Because you all know we miss all the break downs on the trail so we will have something to talk about and drink cool daddy pops while watching the m...

Well this old girl is just about to go on the local market. Turned out to be a nice buggy, but if I only ride it once or twice a year, it really isn't worth keeping around. New rings are pretty much broke in. It pops right off. Getting 210-215 ish compression readings. Changed out the variator for t...

Yep... that 1000 rzr was crazy fast. Too much... I am waiting to see what Yamaha brings out for 2018.... hopefully a bigger engine but we will see. Next thing to test is the other Yamaha that is out but then see what will be needed / involved to make it better for the woods. I like running in the w...

Yes I know the difference - this guy has a 2016 Ranger 900 XP (not the RZR), the utility vehicle. I think he was claiming 75hp.

Wetsu and I ran at TB last year and he got me the first time and the second time I won. Mine is a 900S so is less hp than the 900xp. I was impressed with how his ran. Interesting. So the S and XP have different HP ratings? Is that the 68hp vs 75hp? This ranger was an XP so I'm wondering if it was t...

How do you like yours now that you have adjusted the rear fender? Sounds like you are doing your homework, and taking your time. Smart man. So far, I love this thing. Fun to drive, goes pretty much wherever I've asked, but I'm not riding it hard since it's still being broken in (and my name's not G...
