Just purchased a used set of gears from Joyner for $150, it's all they had. They said they were in good condition. We will see.

Mine's currently running on a used set of gears. So far, so good. Been in there a couple years, but I don't ride it much.

Guys I am serious when I say tired 150. It has over a 1k miles on an original top end and it is starting to smoke. It was subject to a bad stock air filter for a while and then there were a lot of other drivers riding this thing too. Has Dean driven it? [-X So someone with your skillset oughta be a...

Dang, that's a lot of engine to stuff in a tight space. Good luck, can't wait to see her running.

You'll need to resize the pic. Use something like snagit, or some other software.

Blown head gasket from the last roots ride. Then Tom talked me into buying his last performance cam. :D Then I had to swap out my carb and throttle cable. Bent lower left front control arm (possibly the strut, too). The list goes on, but she is running.

I think the moral of the story here is, don't break your gears! I have a complete set of gears that I was going to take to a machinist friend just to get an idea on the cost to replace the 2-3 known to fail. I'm sure this has been done before and it was probably too expensive to have done. I know wh...

Think you might need to tear into the gearing (right side of the motor). Sounds kind of like you have some torn up gears.

That one is in really good condition (other than the bent cage). Seats look great, tires are good, and it even has all the fenders (very rare!). It's a 150, so not as much power, but it's still fun. Assuming you can negotiate down a bit, I wouldn't be as scared of that one.

Agree. I was thinking it might be worth about half that, assuming it starts/runs.
