I agree... both at the same time.... the rollers are cheap, just pick some up and save yourself from having to tear all that open again.

Basically, the shim is just pressing against one end of the spring to make it compress more.

Haven't tried the lighter rollers yet but it seems that everyone is happy with them.
It's not a big deal to take the cover off to add rollers later, then you too can give advice on whether both is needed.

Thanks guys i think i will do both rollers and a spring at one time after reading your input. I think i would rather do it all at once and ride alitttle while instead of wondering what both would have done!!!!! thanks again!!!!!!!!!! :D

Think i could go to ACE hard ware get some like of metal pipe maybe copper or brass and cut it to size? Is 5/16 think peace good for trail riding?

Yes I believe 5/16 is the right thickness.Typical exhaust tubing or pvc even copper tube should work,it's only a shim.
