I was tring to loosen it and i was bending the shaft because it is so tight on there.

No i mean the hole thing is still on the engine i cant get that off to do that process yet.

Imapact wrench is the best way. See if you can borrow one. If not, try putting a sock between the belt and the pulley. The sock will stop the bell from turning.
