As some of uall know i got mine from motion 427 ... i never have thought that it ran very good... i found out real fast at the turkey bay ride that it was real bad.... with a gps it ran 42 in a half mile and 25 in about 60 yards..... the speedometer on buggy read the same.... i am now taking any and all advice on how to make it better... the clutch pads are worn out down to the metal... and i want to change sprockets the top is a 13tooth and bottom is a 43 ..... what should i change to....

Those clutch pads sure wore out quick! I would get BigE to find a Malossi clutch for that thing first and foremost. If the pads wore out that quick, the clutch may be the reason you never got the performance you expected. Malossi is top of the line and you can order replacement parts for it. I would do that before changing sprockets. You're going to give up top end or bottom end with a different sprocket combo.

I honestly agree with pgh. Knowing that now, that may be the problem. My wifes hh was slipping pretty bad before we put on the malossi. I would probly get that big sproket any ways but I like to have parts. I actualy have a brand new big sproket for mine but I wont use it. But if I find that hill, I'll change it

I thought there had to be something wrong with that clutch. do the clutch, then the sprocket, then the exhaust. I will check the sprockets I have against a kinroad sprocket to see if its close to matching up. I have a slip on muffler from a trx 350 honda that you can fit on it

If your pads were down to the metal, you may want to go ahead and replace the bell, even though it may not look hurt, you know its been hot.
