just got back from a ride with rvtech, my 300 did great except for the two times it was waist deep in mud and water with all the weight on the left side.

it pulled all the ruts and hills with out getting past 1/2-5/8 throttle. and the limited slip did fine

The differential works just fine in most situations. I have owned a 300 GTR for about a year and a half now. The differential will dramatically improve your turning radius. I have done many mods to my GTR and can give some advice on what has worked best for me. If the money hadn't dried up I would have a variator, but that one I haven't tried yet.

With the stock variator I put 18 gram sliders instead of the rollers and improved lowe end response some. I did the malossi red spring at the same time. The malossi spring offers a little better heat resistance than the stock one, but not a lot of additional performance. I also have installed the Malossi delta clutch with red springs. This is one of my favorite mods to date. Definite increase across the band in response, takeoff much faster with more torque. I believe the already high torque of the SYM engine requires using the red springs in that malossi clutch to get the performance gain.

The MRP exhaust certainly made it sound cooler, but it didn't come with a spark arrestor and here in California that can cause you to get a $500 fine. The 30mm MRP carb was pretty difficult to get dialed in and I probably still don't have it completely optimized. I would recommend having a shop do this upgrade if you do it, unless you really know carbs. It uses a dial-a-jet type main jet. The carb has definitely added a lot of zip to this buggy. With the stock 14 tooth sprocket I am getting over 50 mph (true MPH) now and the response is so much faster that the front end gets noticeably more wobbly when punching the gas. This carb will require a custom made manifold because MRP doesn't know dirty diaper about the manifold they ship with it. It HAS to sit level to perform properly. Definitely worth the trouble to do, tho.

Couple of notes on known issues:
with use you may notice that your GTR starts having trouble shifting into gear. This is very common. The solution is to drill a hole on that lever the cable is mounted to the engine shaft with 3/4 in. above where the cable is mounted and remounting the cable up there.

The front strut breaking issue: Jackster and TeamFarm have the plans you can use to have a local shop reinforce those struts so that they'll take a pounding and survive anything.

The stump guard......if that keeps banging on stuff and bending, te best choice is better rear shocks.

Hey thanks for all the advice guys,Still havnt got the diff,in yet and who knows when i will dealing with those people.I do have a lot thicker pan over the rear sprocket which has been put through the test and has held up fine,The shifting link has been switched from a cable to a solid still rod,it was brocke when i bought it so i used that instead, works good except when you change sprockets or something of that nature cause its a pain to readjust.I really hope the diff works out then mabye i can change to a diffrent var,and rollors.
Who sells the bigger buggies like the 650 or something,

Most manufacturers sell a 650cc buggy in other parts of the world, but only Joyner sells one in the US.

You could have the diff welded up. Maybe you could get the shafts machined to fit

If not maybe BigE has something

there are 2 sizes, 20mm ( has a clip that holds the axle on the diff) and 25mm ( has a roll pin that holds the axle on ) sounds like you got a 25mm. I can call tomorrow and see if they have the 20mm in

Thanks bige, can a person order the bigger axles and them work with the hubs and everything else on mine or do you have to change the diff, back out,I tell you i have never had so much trouble dealing with a company as i have had with this place,Im just thinking if i can get this thing back together and im just going to sell them or trade them off to something, ive spent more time waiting on parts and dealing with people then i have had time to enjoy them.Never had no major trouble out of them just bearings and the mormal stuff but i have the hardest time getting parts for them,
If you can get the axle for it could ya see what they would run, ill probley just have to take this unit back out and send it back and wait and wait and wait and maybe they will send me another one,but who knows with them.
Once again thanks
