I too own a 05 sunL 150, dont what at all got diff manuals with it so I have no clue. The reason why I have it is bc I order a blade on line and it was taken forever to get to me .I guess it was on a slow boat from China!Couldn't wait so I order one from Sunl.Make a long story short the blade came b4 the Sunl came in so now I have 2(more now)instead of returning 1 I kept them. The sunl runs good I changed the from susp.a little but nothing major at all broken cables but not bad.Never called them about anything. The only I dont like about is the engine up grades(2 bolt head) no big bore kit that I know of)

well i hope i haven't discouraged any one from getting into the buggys is wasn't meant to.just check out the brand and who you are buying from before rushing into things as i did. dune bogger and funnyman i'm glad your buggys are doing ok.i haven't had any mayor problems either.just like you said funnyman the engine is a down fall for them.things have gotten some what better with this buggy on a few parts for it.but again engine parts are bad, very little out there for it. i have done alot of looking and have had a few chats with ricduncan on this engine and he has always been good to take time to answer questions for me and help me find parts.i know he has turned wrench's on these buggys and being a neighbor to sunl he knows what goes on.he don't candy coat it he just puts it wright out on the table. i like that myself. dune booger i don't know about the flag thing ,i'm just another sunl rider trying to keep his buggy in the dirt.
ps:mancoman i hope didn't scare you away i just got off to a really rough start into the little buggys. to be honest if i hadn't found buggynews i don't think i would still be buggying.

I bought and '07 150cc Roketa two seater in Dec. 2007. I found out right away that the engine was not your typical GY6 design that we all perform upgrades to. It was the "long version" vs. the shorter engine. The valve head is a totally different design. The valve cover has a four bolt pattern. These four bolts thread into the middle of the valve head block vs. tabs on the outer edge of the block. A screwed up design, as you are big time screwed if you strip the bolts. They leak too. I decided to rebuild and converted those parts of the engine that were other than standard, as it will be easy to rubuild/repair into the future as far as parts are concerned.
Other than the engine, I love the design of the frame etc.
