The last time I went on a ride I pulled the axle spline out of the part attached to the wheel. I didn't do any damage but I don't want that to happen again. I looked around and allot of the larger sand buggy guys use them so the suspension won't over extend itself, Any ideas??? thanks..
If this is on your 250, I have flexed my suspension about as much as it will go and have never had a problem, and have never heard of it on a joyner 250. The roketa 800's had a real problem with the axles pulling out at the tranny, and limiting straps was one solution. Check your bushing where your trailing arm attaches behind the seat, wheel bearings, and motor mounts. Sounds to me like you've got some excessive play somewhere. You might want to jack the buggy up before checking for excessive play.

I've never had to tear down an axle on my joyner 250, but maybe you should look at a parts schematic too to make sure you have lost a retention clip or something. Good parts schematics can be downloaded from TeamJoynerUSA.com.

Most of these buggies are limited by the shocks. I got some blown bushings on the hh and can now over extend the trailing arm and pop out the cv. Do as rock said but also look at the shock and it's bushings.
If you dont find anything then limit straps is bout your only option short of changing the shock mount to limit it. Make sure you account for stretch in the straps
