hEY mODS, this should be moved to "Events and Gatherings" I found it by checking on the buggy bash 08 info. I wish it was a different weekend. I have a family reunion that weekend in Columbia SC. I would like to check this place out one weekend. Please take lots of pics and video if Possible. HAVE FUN!!!!
Call family on Friday and inform them that your car has layed down but fortunately the dealership in Chatt. has the part you need. So as bad as you hate it, it looks like your going to have to miss the reunion and drive to Chatt. on Saturday to pick up the replacement part.

I have arranged for someone to show up at the reunion with a motorcycle and side car to take my 83 year old Grandfather for a ride. He had over 250k miles on his 1974 BMW motorcycle when he was stricken with a disabilitating stroke 3 days before my brother and I were going to ride with him to bike week in Daytona. My brother and I are riding our motorcycles to the reunion and will be escorting him on the ride. My mom plans to ride on the back with me. This should truly be an amazing event for my Grandfather. He is still very active in the M/C commuinty but is not able to ride. It broke his heart selling his ride that he had so many miles with.
Upto his stroke he walked 3 miles a day rain or shine and competed in the Senior Olympics.
I have learned: Live your life the way you want, because things change in an instint.
You guys have fun, I'll catch you guys some other time. Like I said get lots of photos.
Ask your father if he ever met a gentleman from Shelbyville TN. that owned a BMW dealership for years. Its my understanding he logged oner a milloin miles and even rode from TN to Alaska. I'll see if I can find the newpaper article.
