I know this is not an english thing but I am thankful for my stepson who despite his disabilities makes us proud every day and his younger brother who gives up so much to help his mum when I'm not around without complaint (well not much)

I'm thankful for my kids who show me every day how great it is to be a dad, and for my girlfriend, being 15yrs younger than I, would put up with an old fart like me. I'm thankful for my dad, who is always there when I need him, and through these tough times I'm thankful that I still have my job of 26yrs to support my family.

I'm thankful for all the stuff I've been given and the great opportunities that I have and also for all of my awesome family.

We don't stop and think about it often enough in my opinion, but that's just me. I'm thankful for our Veteran's who have served and provide the securities that we all take for granted, for our Active duty who will not be with their families during this Holiday season as they are watching those securities to ensure that they will be there tomorrow and the next day. I am thankful for their services.
I am thankful that I'm able to get out of bed and enjoy life with my beautiful bride of 9 years and our amazing boy of seven. The amazement of it all can be overwhelming, but I still find myself thankful for it.
