I wouldn't do anymore beating or banging. You never know what other damage you may do. Bore it, stroke it, port the head and put in hot cams.

Ain't nothing like a hot rod!

I agree. My concern would be the bearing carriers. You damage the case and you need a new motor for real. This is why I used the c clamp.

I have decided to go for it and split the crank case and try the repair.
This will be my first time going in any farther than adjusting the valve clearance.
This buggy is for kids so I will probaly go back stock because they dont need any more power.
I know I need a Crank, piston, rings, cylider.
What gaskets will I need to reseal everything including the case?
Do i need any other type of sealant?

Also here is a pic of the valves.
Is this normal build up on them that can be cleaned off?
If so what is the best way to clean them without damaging them?
If no then i will go ahead and order a whole new valve head.

spray carb cleaner on the valves and let it sit for awhile. After it sits look inside your ports and see iff any is leaking thru.Use a good stiff brush to clean the carbon off.

I have never had much luck cleaning carbon off of things short of a wire wheel.

If I were in your shoes, I'd take the head somewhere to have it rebuilt if possible. A good machine shop could clean up the ports and toss on a three angle valve job and hand inspect everything. Probably for the same as a new head or possibly less.
