I really like my 22" Maxxis RZR's 6ply. I spent an entire day in soft, dry sand washes. All I did was release the tire pressure a bit and I was waving goodbye to exact equal Joyner 250's. I have do not have any mods to my buggy yet so it had to be the tires. I have added two pics. The front tires have a "drive line" in the middle and I didnt have any floating of my front end even in the fastest sand corners. The rear tread is the same in any direction so reversing is not necessary.
On hard desert trails these tires grab like crazy. I could barely get the rear end end to fishtail and I was tryin like crazy. The other two Joyners (with stock tires) were sliding pretty good.
Plus they are 6ply. That was the main reason I bought em. I really hate flats...lol.

I strongly recommend "Turf Tamers" I did a lot of testing on our 08 250. Don't run paddles you don't have the power to spin them. We tested 2 different types of paddles and all they did was dig holes.
With the Turf Tamers you won't need to change tires. Air up in hard pack and air down to about 4-6 psi in soft sand.
We ran all over Glamis this way and didn't have any trouble.
Just remember to pick good lines you don't have the power you need to climb out.
Turf Tamers ?? Are those similar tread tires as the hole shot tires I've seem on quads. If so theres a pair of them for sale on e-bay for $120.00. Is that a good price. Was wonder about soft sand and dunes and how our GTR 250 would do with stock tires as well.
