i AGREE WITH THE IRS SETUP, BUT WHEN MONEY IS INVOLVED i AM GOING TO HAVE TO SAVE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. i THINK HIS BUGGY IS TO LOW, I ALREADY HAVE 700 RAPTOR FRONT SHOCKS, WIH MODIFIED UPPER BRACKETS, BUT I DO LIKE THE SPINDLE SWAP, JUST DO NOT LIKE THE LOOK OF THE SWINGARM. i WONDER HOW THAT ONE SHOCK HOLDS UP TO TWO PEOPLE IN THERE. I LIKE TO JUMP, AND THAT IS THE REASON FOR ME MOVING THE MOTOR OFF THE SWINGARM IT SEEMS TO THROW YOU FUNNY. THANKS FOR THAT THREAD THOUGHT GIVES ME LOTS OF IDEAS.

What are you doing with the shocks from the Polaris?

Your best bet is to strt from scratch or work off a stock one. Look up trouphy karts for a nice set up and ideas. Dont stretch the buggy either. I would modle it after a pilot or oddy or a stadium lite
SORRY I ENDED UP DITCHING THE POLARIS IDEAL BECAUSE IT WAS WAY TO NICE OF A QUAD. BUT WENT AND PICKED UP ANOTHER WARRIOR THAT RUNS GREAT JUST LOOKS LIKE dirty diaper, AND I AM FOR SURE GOING TO BLOW THIS QUAD APART, I LIKE THE THOUGHT OF SHIFTING GEARS. I AM JUST WORRIED ABOUT HOW THAT WARRIOR REAR SHOCK WILL HOLD UP WILL ALL THAT WEIGHT ON IT.
Heres my problem with adding the quad rear. Your making the buggy to long for it's width. Your putting alot of stress to the center of the frame. That rear shock is meant for much less weight, let alone the added torque from the length.
I would mount the motor in a cage. then use the front arms on the rear of the buggy. Then do as Greg did for a cheap irs.
Or I would make a cage for the motor with room for a swing arm. Making sure that the sproket on the motor lines up with the pivot. I would place a sproket there for the drive chain to run back to the axle.
