Hello from Ohio!! Just picked up this buggy and would like to know who makes this frame, unless its home-made. It has an 05 gsxr 600 engine. Chain driven to driveshafts. Was wondering if there was cv axles or something better to put in place of these drive shafts because it shakes pretty bad when I get on the gas. U joints are freakin welded in BTW! I only notice the shaking on the road but is fine in the yard. Let me know what you guys think. Im open to any help and any pointers. I just added 25 pounds to the front end because it didnt like to turn.... at all. Thanks in advance!!

i think that's a build based off a set of badlands ST plans (about 4 different versions of the ST) Doesn't look too bad, but a little "light" in some areas for any rough trail riding. I do recall one particular version had issue with the rear bottoming out under full compression.

Nice. I was told when I got it that you could swap a set of Porsche cv axles in. Don't know the name or model number. Something is in need of replacing/ balancing though...

Welcome. I would say, generally, the answer to your question is:
One bad @$$ machine. Very nice.

Looks like a pretty mean ST...or something based heavily on an ST.

You'll be looking for 944 axles. Your best bet would be to pull yours, go to autozone or something, and compare them.

Heres a link to parts for the rear end that might help or at least give you some ideas: http://www.rickskraschsite.com/catalog.php?Category=8

Nice machine. It would benefit greatly by adding diagonal bracing from the floor to the belt line. like my frame. I also have to wonder if the a-arms are backwards, the nose is to far past the wheel, just a thought.

Not a bad idea. It would be cool to somehow make it a 2 seat buggy. Maybe razr seats.... hmmm.
