Has anybody else had trouble with gokartusa. I'm new to the buggy world just bought a Kinroad Sahara 150 for my kids. It shipped fast but once I got it it came with just generic assembly instructions, no warranty info, several accessories missing that were to be included such as speedometer, temp gauge, the wrong head lights, wrong tires, wrong seats. The kart just quit running on the second day we had it ( it just died at won't get a spark). The company has failed to respond to any emails and won't answer their phone. The same guy that was in sales anwered the tech line on Saturday. He was rude and his only answer to any of my assembly questions " I should have had a qualified mechanic assemble it". Since every other option that was to be on the buggy isn't there I assume that the engine that was supposed to be a 12 hp probably is the standard hp. Is there any way to tell?

Hi Rammer, and welcome to Buggy News!

I'm sorry to hear of your experiences with GoKartsUSA. Sadly, you're not the only one who has had a similar experience with their after-sale "support". Please have a look through the Dealer Fame/Shame forum and do a Google search on "GoKartsUSA review", and you'll find out what you're up against.

The good news is you found us, and as a community we should be able to get you up and running again.

Your fight for what they promised you may be just beginning. Sadly, you might decide that it's probably not worth the time, money, and effort to go after them for what they promised - and this is EXACTLY why they keep doing it.

If you're not getting spark, can you describe what steps you've done to troubleshoot it, so we have a starting point to help you?

As for the 12hp claim, maybe if it's floating in outer space with absolutely no load on it. Otherwise you're probably in the 8-10hp range like all the other stock 150cc buggies.

-Mike

If you have the option to leverage your credit card company against this purchase, do so now and start a document trail. We will be able to help you get a buggy from dealer that stands behind their product if you end up returning this one.

It is too bad that these guys can't see the damage they do to themselves when they treat customers this way. It won't be long before they have to shut the doors because of their reputation.

Fight the purchase. Make them take it back on the grounds of it was not the machine that was promised. This can be done with the help of the CC company.

Glade

I just had to mention this...
GoKartsUsa has stolen several of KidNme's install videos. He's not just embedding them but re-editing it to suit his needs. There IS a "courtesty of KidNme" at the very beginning but we have asked them to take them off since he makes it look like we WORK for him!!!
I just want everyone to know that we did not allow this. We gave him a week to take them down and are still being ignored.
I can't imagine what his tech support entails since it appears he has no clue about what he's doing!

We are not the only ones he's "Cut & Paste" from as most of what is on his site has come from the hard work of others.
STAY AWAY from these Scheisters!

These guys are really bad news. They posted an MBRA logo on their site before they could be approved for our Trusted Dealer Program. It took several weeks for me to get through to them to take it down. Even when I told him of all the complaints I had on file about them the owner came off with an attitude.

I hope everything works out for you.

All the dealers on this site are top shelf guys and will never do you wrong.

They've got some nerve posting copyrighted material.
I know it's been done before but maybe it needs to be done again.
Someone should contact the local chamber of commerce, the BBB, their State Attorney General, etc.. about what these guys are doing.
