Nope the tractor is not an automatic. I won't say you can't go where we usually go but I will tell you that you will earn it

I like both and wish everyone could have one of each. However I feel the cvt has more advantages, with user friendly topping the list.

That's what I like about the sport now the market has grown to give just about everybody what they want. (Rumors about Honda 6 speed full true auto coming soon)
To be honest I don't think that there's a bad unit out there just different strokes for different folks.

I agree Steve, and they all have their strong and weak points. Just wish they didn't cost so darn much.

Well if that is what you think it cost I must have got a heck of a deal because it didn't anywhere near that.

What I wasn't clear on was the Maverick and Polaris/ Yamaha reference.

I think Ghost Hunter mistook your RZR 900 for a Maverick.

Thanks Ghost, but there are some really nice ones out there compared to mine.

As for the Maverick, I didn't know that. But I don't think that is the case. But just so you know I have a Polaris not a Can-Am. They are really saying good things about the X3. I did see that they do make different widths of that which is good. The 72" would be a real problem for most of the areas I ride. But they do make a 60" which is a nice width. Their problem area is the viscus front differential making is a 3 wheel drive from what I have read. I road with a guy that had a Maverick and he did just fine but we didn't get into any really tough stuff.

As for the other pocket I looked there the other day and it was as empty as the first one I looked in. Though I thought about starting a Go Fund Me Account for a new 168HP Turbo RZR. Hey I figure if others can do why can't I.

Sorry Steve didn't mean to highjack your post 8-[

No problem fun to read & Ghost it's the new Arctic Cat Wildcat that (very very strong rumors ) has the Yamaha 200HP 1000cc snowmobile engine in it & is a cousin to the YXZ engine. I think Can Am's engines are Bombardier.

Arctic Cat is already making waves in the desert racing circuit with their prototype. I will be part of a pit crew for the Mint 400 this year so hopefully get some pictures of one.

I did hear something about that Steve. I do like the looks of the Arctic Cat but they just don't have good revues on the trail. In all my rides I bet I haven't seen a half dozen total.

We had a UTV race at the local fairground this past fall. It had an obstacle course and a barrel race. It was hosted by the local Arctic Cat dealer. The interesting part was that there was not a single Arctic Cat in the race. There was one Yamaha, one Maverick and the rest were RZRs.

Well let's face it Polaris cornered this market at least 4 yrs before anybody else & they all have there pros & con's ( RZR's recalls & catching on fire, Arctic cats under powered, all CVT based rigs belts don't hold up & Yxz clutch issues) So the rest of the market is playing catch up with Polaris & as I firmly believe COMPETITION IS GOOD for us all, makes everybody bring their A game. :)
