Those sliders look like they are working for you, but I'm surprised you are getting full range of your variator. You may want to put the rear up on blocks or standsand run the engine with the cover off. You will then see how far the belt travels up the variator at different RPMs. When the wheels are under load it takes a little more weight to get the belt to the top of the variator, so you should be able to max the belt when on stands. Many of the after market variators have steeper ramps, so you may have to change your lighter sliders for heavier ones to get full use of 115mm variator. |

i forgot about the bigger variator having a little steeper ramps pghruby. i don't have a tach or a speedo wish i did sometimes i know with this set up now it is more than plenty of speed for my type of riding .i know if i get it out on the black top and open it up now i will run out of variator before i run out of rpms but it is getting pretty darn close pud |

im using the prodigy variator with the 10 gram sliders and they work great for me. i use to use the 9 gram rollers with my stock variator. i did notice a little bit of difference in climbing ability. im pretty sure i am getting full range as well. |

me to stang i notice a quite a bit more low end for me. i'm sure they got to help you plowing through the mud. i was down for a little while my exhaust was broken to bad to fix this time flange broke into. when i went from 9.5 gram rollers to sliders i used real fine steel wool to polish the variator.this time when i put them back in i used some of BIGEs chrome polish that will work on aluminum to,(good polish BIGE).clean the variator good and polished everything that the slider would touch and wow it made a world of difference they shift up fast and down shift faster now.i don't know how long the polish will last before it wares off buts its working good for now. here is a couple of pictures of a hill that you used to it my lunch but no longer also thanks ric duncan for helping me find an exhaust and getting the exhaust gaskets for me. pud

when i went to the bigger variator and 10 gram sliders it did make a huge difference in mudding. my buggy has also been OOC for about 3 weeks now. i still need a throttle cable, new chain and im waiting on Tom to get the 37 tooth sprocket in next week. going from 32 to 37 tooth is also going to increase my low end for my mud buggy. |

stang my stock sprocket was 31T i gained 8T and it was a real big help for low end for me.i just never did like that 31T sprocket.it always felt like taking off in a car with standard shift in 2nd gear you could do but just not all what it needed, if that makes sence to you.i think with the setup in your cvt and adding that sprocket it should be a mud plowing machine you will have more grunt pud |
