From what I can tell and what the dealer told me the Runmaster and the Sahara are the same buggy. Kinroad got tired of the copies of the sahara coming out on the market so they changed the name. I one I got came with head lights and a set of overhead offroad light. I think it looks better. Try Greg and Emrockatvs.com he has great prices and stands behing is products. And you can trust him!!!!!!!

The Kinroad 250 has gone through many incarnations in past years...Sahara, Raptor, and a few others. Some were problematic designs but the recent Runmaster version seems to be solid. It is comfortable and and can be easily modded if you choose. I do know that the clutch mods (sliders and torque spring) really wake this machine up.

My friend got a runmaster 2 (a revised runmaster) and I would have to say it is by far the best built 250cc solid axle I have seen aywhere online. I mean this thing is solid.. there is a ton of metal in the cage around the engine. It has a really beefy dual chain setup, and the the entire rear frame itself acts as the chain tensioner.. the chain should never come off. The main swingarm frame is very stout square rail below the engine and lots of support tubing. The engine is very well mounted with additional mounting brackets holding to the frame in several places.
I was amazed at the sturdiness of this cart. Right off my friend and another guy both at least 180 lbs jumped in. They took off like a bat outta devilville and within a few corners he flipped the buggy at about 35 mph in a full blown drift. It flipped over so violently fast that they didnt even know what happened. No helmets, no shirts, no shoes even, just rubber slippers. They both came out without a scratch. And the buggy the only thing that got bent was the rollcage, in fact it landed back on its wheels still running, could have just kept going. absolutely nothing else got damaged by the roll, not even the mirrors. I was amazed cause they rolled it going as fast as you could with 350 lbs of people in it. We kept rambling it for the rest of the day. rammed into a papaya tree (soft bark, and hollow in the middle) at about 5 mph with the tire and dropped the whole tree!!
I highly reccomned this buggy if you get a good price on it, you will not be dissapointed.

Post subject:  Runmaster, Joyner, Sahara, Kinroad

Just went for my first ride with my new Runmaster 250 (sahara) and my dad's Joyner Sand Viper 250. Both Brand New. Holly Crappppp!!!!!!! The Joyner is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! Now my Runmaster is nice but it doesn't even hold a candle or even a close second to the Joyner. We went for a ride on some log roads that still had large ruts and pot holes. The Kinroad would make your teeth fall out. The Joyner was like a Cadillac. And with the duel tranny it can do it all. Anyone who is looking for a 250!!!!! Save your money and buy and Joyner. I wish I did. I am telling you there is now way to even compare the two buggies!!! I can't even say in words how much better the Joyner is than any other buggy I have driven. I should have listened to the guy and Edgepower sports,
