I'm thinking of buying my first cart and I came across the HH250ss. Any words of wisdom on this cart? Any others I should look at? |

My first buggy(and only) Is a hh250ss. You will want to buy from a local dealer for good parts service but i say this is a great kart. Easy mods( and yes it will happen  ). A very good buggy in my opinion. Some of these vets will chime in with more infomation.

I have a regular HH250 and after nearly 2 years of hard ridding I can say without a doubt I am very pleased with my purchase. We started with a less expensive Yerfdog. Although many have had success with less expensive buggies, I'd rather spend my time riding than fixin'. The HH250 is well worth the extra $$$$. Alot depends upon what you want to do with it. We've done, trails, mud and pastures and have had a great time - very reliable. I agree completely with llamaman, easy to mod for better performance. For the record though, as much as I love the HH250 I still want more power. If all goes well it won't be long before I step up to a Sand Spider 650. The HH250 has some great low end torque but I'd like some more speed! If this is your first buggy I don't think you could go wrong with the HH250ss. |

I have to agree with the previous comments. I've had my 07 for a little over a year. Overall, I'm pleased with it. Had a few problems but the regional distributor took great care of me on parts and advice. I'm waiting on sliders and springs now. It's almost as much fun researching and visiting with other owners as it is to ride. Almost. One of the things that I like about the HH250 is the 56" width. For tight trails like we ride, you need to stay narrow. Our buggy is gagage mates with our Rhino. It is amazing how well it keeps up on the trails. Good luck on your decision. Mark |

Yep, the HH250 is a good buggy. The problems I've had have been minor. The rear fender brackets are weakly designed and I welded reinforcement on them. Also, the rear tires are junk if you're gonna be riding in mud. Aside from that, no real complaints. It climbs like a mother in lo gear and hits about 45mph in hi. There's plenty of mods out there, too, and more on the way. |
