For whomever may care. I had no idea how big the buggy was and all I had to compare it to is the Yerf. Not everyone has seen every buggy brand/size in person or has the ability to. Suppose you wanted to see a Blade XTX next to a Carter 300...... I would but I dont have either buggy available near me. Not a comparison as far as its better or worse. I am out riding the Yerf today and the "better" Carter is sitting in the shop after running all of 10 minutes. So "better" name dont mean squat when a 3 year old buggy who's company is out of business is still going strong and a brand new "best of the best" is a $4k plus paperweight. Also they say the turning radius of the Carter sucked well it turns better than the Yerf so to ME it seems just fine since I have not experienced the Turning radius of the Talon/Blade/Kinroad 150cc's. ageekwithabuggy wrote: i am sorry but to me this is a worthless comparson because the yef is a 150 that has lots of little problems and the carter is one of the best 250s out there you know what i mean sorry for being a party pooper I dont think the Yerf is any worse than any other buggy. It was $1500 new. 3 years later the only problem was a blown bearing which was all of $10 to fix tho I upgraded a bit more while it was apart. Added the reverse kit and changed some other bearings. Yeah it has little problems but name a buggy that doesnt. I am not ashamed of it. I AM ashamed of my custom giant seatcushion pads though but hey after almost breaking vertabrae, these things make the ride SO much smoother! Anyhow I was just providing some visual info and some observations is all. |

That Carter is a Sweet looking ride. First one I have seen in blue. Looks great. I think if you got the version with the differential in the rear that fixed the turning problem. Did your dealer have any of the 300's in stock? Just curious why you went with the 250 over the 300. Also for as big as that Carter is, it doesn't appear to have much more seating room than the Yerf. Is this the case or is it just hard to tell from the pictures? Have fun with them! Jamie |
