Well that didn't take long. After selling my 3 Talon's 2 weeks ago, I found a GTR on Craiglist, and bought it. Brought it home last night. Very excited. It's a beast!

I do love it. I've only had a short time to ride it sinse I brought it home. I'm at the beach on vacation w/the family. So I'll get some pics up when I get home.

After owning 2 Talons, and a HH for almost 3 years. It appears that Carter has lived up to it's moto. It truly is a better biult machine. It is a solid well built kart. I love the 4 wheel susp. So smooth.

It drives very stock. very little low end, and nice top end. I'll fix that eventually. Anyone here been able to overcome the severe pushing through corners. The only thing bad about this one is that the turning radius is like a battleship, and the front end is so light it nearly pushes you through the corners. I'm gonna have to change rollers to try to get more torque. At least maybe then I'll have a chance to power through the corners and bring the rear around a bit more.

Can't wait to ride more!

the sliders will make a big diff, I have the main spring and clutch springs for a really good change in low end

If more torque is what you're after lighter slider (or rollers) and a stiffer main spring will do a good job. This will keep the revs in the powerband. A bigger carb will give you good results too both low end and in top speed. But this means you again have to find a new main spring that will suit the increase in power.

Do you have a diff in the rear axle?
Mine does... no problem in tight corners...
althought at WOT it does tend to push...
I let the revs drop a bit before cornering and give it full throttle
just after steering in. Giving it some wheel spin. Then let it slide trough the corner.

When you guys say differential, is it a limited slip type, open or what. Have a Carter dealer nearby thinking about looking at a 250.

The diff on the GTR is not limited slip.
