The only way I am able to start my Crossfire is if I seal off the carb intake with my hand. With air cleaner attached It will start if I seal off both holes on either side of the air cleaner. Buggy seems to run fine once started. I am unable to start it any other way. Buggy will keep restarting as long as engine stays warrm If I let buggy sit for 20-30 mins I have to seal intake again with my hands to get it to start. Any suggestions.

sound like to me one of the two or both that could be causig this.a bad choke or a intake leak. the rubber intakes are bad about the rubber letting loose around bolts and leaking.get it started again while it is idling spray some carb cleaner or starting fluid down around and over intake,if engine sound changes or dies out it is leaking. on the choke it might be stuck in the off position.when you start the engine choke is supposed to be on, current from stator heats up the needle with a spring letting it push the needle down shutting off the extra gas after a few minutes of running here is how you can check choke

I just replaced the carburetor and choke a few days ago. Both with new parts hoping that would fix it. I am new to buggies but know just enough to get me in trouble. I will try checking for leaks first by sparying in and about the carb intake. If no leaks, I will check the choke. It is possible that it is bad. I have gotten new parts in the past that were bad. If it appears that I have a leak, is it the intake manifold that would be causing the leak.

I'd investigate the choke last in this case. As mentioned the choke is normally ON but heats up once the engine is running and shuts off. Your symptom doesn't match this. Check for that leak--seems way more likely.
