Okay I'll ask this question here since I asked the same question on buggy news ELSEWERE but still no response may be some of you guys can help out. I originally posted this in regards to Yankee31's question about Joyner 250 or Carter 300?

Joyner 250 versus Carter 300 is a subject I've been reading with interest as they are on my short list for a new buggy for the family,but there are two other's that are on my short list and I cannot seem to find any information about these other buggy's they are a

Any information would be appreciated, I am 6'2" tall and my significant other is 5'8" tall and this will be for both of us to ride together so it needs to be roomy and powerful enough to carry us both on trail rides. I am the heavier one but combined we are about 425 pounds,of critical importance is a comfortable suspension or one that can be made to be comfortable and soft as my significant other has a medical condition that prevents her from being bounced around too much so that her condition does not worsen. She does enjoy riding in the yerf dog but we need something a little roomier with a better suspension so an independent rear suspension is mandatory and as I am a man that cares very much about my significant other comfort is going to be a major deciding factor.I probably won't make the purchase until the springtime and God willing the future situation with the economy will allow me to be able to purchase this for my family.

Those buggies are marketed under various brand names, but they are roketas at heart. A lot of people own roketas, but the general consensus seems to be that you need to be willing and able to work on your buggy if you buy one. I think BMS brands some of these as their own and they seem to follow Blade's lead in trying to improve, upgrade and ensure that certain quality standards are met in the ones they sell. Having no personal experience with Roketa, all I can comment on is what I have read and seen.

If you want lots of room and a good ride, then the carter 250 or 300 is what I would recomend. the joyner is also a good choice. Bms is coming around but they havent got there yet. and as far as these roketas go, just MY opinon you can do better. some folks have had good luck with them, others havent.

on those ebay links, the guy uses pictures from dazon, so I would not even think about those

The GTR's have more cabin space while the SandVipers have better suspension. If you can fit in the Joyner comfortably, the ride will be smoother.

I think the Joyner is the best 250 for my riding conditions, period. Plus it has the chasis that can handle a nice engine swap. That said his wife has a medical condition, and getting in and out of the Joyner isn't for the physically challenged. BUT the ride is so smooth it may cancel out the boarding issue.


To address the Roketa buggies. If the dealers on this forum who we trust doesn't have them, you'd be rolling the dice, (born and raised in Vegas) with Ebay. I'm 44 yrs old, and growing up you could buy a Curtis Mathis TV with a ridiculosly long warranty. Today if you buy a $2-$3000 TV you get a 1yr warranty with the option to buy an extended warranty. The Mfgs won't stand behind the product, so you need to buy from a dealer who stand behind what he/she sells.

pictures from dazon? so are you saying that those are not Roketa's in his advertisements ?

thats what I am saying. I will talk to carter and joyner and see if they will come to the bash. I cant promise anything. I will have my 25xt there you can try it out. the front is the same as an xtx

Okay so if those are not roketa's that's probably a good thing considering the reputation they seem to have. I still think they are really nice-looking buggy's and I am still very interested in them. They appear to have a very well designed long travel suspension in both the front and rear. I especially like the front A-arms they look very strong and reliable. In regards to the motor in the 300 that sounds very interesting. Both of these buggy's seem to be fairly roomy. Now for the million-dollar question what model of Dazon are these buggies and what are the specs or was he at least accurate about those?
