I just finished assembling a Magnum 150 from Awesome Buggy. I have noticed the following problems and we've driven it for about 10 minutes:
1. The driver's side rear tire will not hold air.
2. The gas tank is leaking at the fuel gauge assembly (I have gradually snugged the mounting nuts and I think I have the leak stopped).
3. The driver's side rear fender mount is out of alignment (compared to the opposite side).
4. The passenger seat has a tear in the upholstery.
5. The gas pedal is loose on the mounting "axle" (it appears that it may be missing some kind of shim).
6. There are several left over nuts, bolts, and cotter pins. Are these extras....I hope?
7. The engine won't idle. I'm thinking this could be an altitude issue (I'm at 4,000 ft.) but when I asked this question upon ordering, I was told altitude shouldn't be an issue.
Has anyone else had these sorts of issues? I was afraid of ordering Chinese dirty diaper but the price was good. I like the buggy though I just hope it will hold up for a while.

The kinroads are considered decent overall for the price. Generally a better buy than something from SUNL, Roketa, etc.
Get us some pictures if you can. Plenty of us have seen some of these things and can help you out. There are plenty of places that pins may have worked themselves out of in shipment... such as the castle nuts on top of or below struts, etc. Check for any castle nuts missing pins.
At 4000 feet you do probably need some carb adjustments. You have less oxygen in the air up that high so you may need a smaller main jet. But to get a smooth idle try and adjust the idle air bleed screw on the left side of the carb. I am at sea level, so perhaps other members at 4000 foot elevation can comment on what jetting they went with.
That tear is a shipping issue... contact Awesome Buggies... they or Kinroad should take care of you on something like that... shipping or packaging damage.
Not sure what you mean by fender alignment... Some fenders just need a gentle nudge to get them to match up.
Basic prep of a crated powerports item is half the battle. You should probably be using lock-tite, and switching out fluids to start if you have not done so already. Check all wiring, etc.

Oh yeah... that tire. Try Slime... we all slime our tires anyhow as they help them hold up in off road enviroments... otherwise you can find yourself stranded with a flat.
If slime does not do the trick, you may have another warranty claim... bad valve, etc??

Thanks for the reply. I installed lock washers on most of the parts I had to assemble. I think the valve core was a little loose but I think I'll use some slime as well.
