It beat the RZR every time. I wounder how much that big bore kit cost to put in the 750. It did beat it every time, but not by much. I still like the RZR.

The big bore kit is about $1500.

that includes, big bore high compression pistons, big bore cylinder sleeves, cams, and valve springs.

Here is how much he has in engine mods so far.

"the total i am in my teryx and motor only is:
$1470 bbk w/cams
$21 base gaskets
$330 velocity vdi
$127 hushpower II muffler
$145 mandlel bent tubing and flanges for the headers i made
$9799 Teryx

11,892 TOTAL"

You could hear in the first two races that the Teryx hit the rev limiter, his GPS read 58.3 mph.

He is going to send his clutch in to get it modified, he should then see 65 to 70+ mph.

Where did your information about the participants come from?

The first race looked long enough for both machines to hit their top speed but I never heard the Rzr hit its rev limiter. A stock Rzr easily hits 55mph so why isn't the race closer if the Teryx is hitting 58.5? I can guess...That Rzr isn't stock and is running very tall tires. He'll never get a good launch unless he makes some major changes to the clutching.
All stock Rzrs come with a limiter sleeve in the primary clutch to limit speed (thanks to the liability lawyers). Removal is quick & easy and this FREE mod will get you at least to 60mph. That would level the playing field if that one wasn't running too much tire.

YouTube seems to be full of similar staged "shootouts".

I was mainly saying that the RZR was stock as far as engine mods.

He said in a post after I posted my first post that the RZR had 26" tires.

He said that the first race was about 500' from where they were lined up to where camera man was standing.

See his posts for your self here, here, here, and here he goes by the name "Chase".

By looking at the video that RZR does have bigger tires. I guess I just dont see the excitement of modding a vehicle to beat a stock one.
