hey all. the name is isaac i acquired my buggy 3 years ago with the junk gy6 150cc engine. i pulled that out and then the project stalled.. fast forward i was looking at it and thought i should pull it out and blow off the dust. so my plan has been going according too plan i had a spare gs750 engine and now its currently sitting on the buggy mounted and ready too go, all im waiting for now is my new shifter cable, clutch and throttle cable.
once its all done its getting a new cage and outfitted with led lights and such for those late night cruises in the mountains... im very excited too drive this buggy :o :o

Welcome to the addiction.

A 750 in a 150 frame with a solid rear axle in it is going to be an interesting ride.

Welcome. That buggy is going to be insane with a 750. Post up some videos on its first ride. Your rear tires are backwards.

What year GS? You're going to want to put a fan blowing on the jugs, just FYI.

Having been there before, if I were to do it again I would be building a new swingarm with a heavier axle. More money and more effort, but at least you won't bend your stuff up the first time you hit a rock or get a little air.

I believe you can run those tires either way. It depends on the terrain.

I agree with Funnyman's comment. The current direction works better on sand while turned around works better on mud.

I've always loved small buggys with bike engines. One of these days i'm going to build one!
