15th & 16th might work for me but 8,9 would be a positive. What about bikini bottom.

I would say we take a look at Fulton Mo... we are going to Turkey Bay in June, people have been to Bikini bottom (mud anyone?) and always cool to see other spots.
Lake, 5.00 to ride and 5.00 to camp,
Looks pretty big...

Take a look.
Potawatomi off road park and campground... fulton mo.

It looks like we have some interest in this. I guess the next thing is what is a good location for this ride? Do we want to try some place new or one of our tried and true locations? We just have to keep in mind that we pick a place to ride that is friendly to 150/250 suspension buggies ( and the older bodies some of us have that will be riding them).

How about your yard       ?

I don't have one of those little fellers anymore, can I still come?

Technically, I think we're in since the CFMotos are of chinese origin. We have just as much chance of breaking down as anybody else!

That is true except mine was not made in China.... so. I was thinking of the tow truck possibility, but it looks like Maxey has that job. By the way... have you heard of that rock band called Kill Switch Engaged????     #-o !!! I don't know how true it is but alledgedly they are letting sxs and buggies into Finger Lakes over in Columbia Mo. I was there about 17 years ago,and if I recall the campgrounds were pretty good.

OK now that that is settled Mike is the official tow truck for this event. Since September is a while away, maybe you can start working on a lift back for your CF Moto. It would be easier on our buggies as compared to being pulled. Thanks Mike, your the greatest. And your wrong in stating that Nobody likes you, there are a few people who like you but this will make even more people like you and you'll be the positive talk of the bunch. :bananadance

Wetsu, you may want to sweet talk Gundoc about his 150, you would feel right at home in that. Just sayin.

Ok, we have two possible dates the 8th & 9th and the 15th & 16th. What works for the largest group? We need to nail down this date so those that need to schedule time off can get it done.

Two places that seem to be a possibility are Finger Lakes in Columbia Missouri or Little Egypt in southern Illinois. I know we had a ride planned for Bad Lands that got cancelled. I know the northern guys would love this but it would be a haul for those living south and west. Any other suggestions as to riding areas?

Can someone verify if we can get our rides into Finger Lakes? They used to have that 50" limit and their website still says that. Not sure why they'd have that restriction, it would limit their park from a ton of riders.

Good pt.
If we can get our rides in there it would be my choice

Well I scoured the interwebs a bit and what I had found on some forums is that the width restriction is not enforced. Folks have indicated they talked to the park ranger, and it's not an issue. SxS's go there frequently. Take that for what it's worth. I guess to be absolutely sure, we'd want to call the local park office and make sure that's the case before we go hauling there.

I'm pretty open as far as dates go, as long as we get it nailed down early enough. The only issue for my family, friends, and me will be the distance. We're willing to drive 5-6 hours and stay 3-4 days, but can't really go more than that on either of those. My wife hates trips even that long. Unless it's to a beach in the gulf, the woman loves the beach lol.
Not trying to put limits on everybody's buggy trip. I'll definitely try to make this. I'd like to meet some BN members to place names with faces. The only member here I've met was for a very brief moment, and that was Papa Rich.

One thing about Finger Lakes like St Joe is there can't be any Daddy pops on the trails as far as I know. And what I have been hearing is they don't inforce the 50" rule. But as you guys know it would be our luck as soon as we got there they would decide to do so.

Here is the link to Little Egypt. https://www.leormc.org/home.html

It does say no night riding and no alcohol on the premises. So I guess that means at the campsite either.

Moonlight is looking better all the time...lol
