Have read alot about your turf, how it started, etc. I had hoped to come there this Oct. but couldn't get free. Please keep us posted with what you guys are doing. Would it be possible for us to have a buggy enduro there?
I think this would be another great location for a buggy rally. It's probably within one days drive of a lot of us. You guys look at his sights and see what you think. Rodeoduck has a show archived about Harlin County. Listen to it.

thanks for the links, bellman.
yes, an enduro would be great there. i'd come. then cruise on down in town to the dairy bar for some great vittles. you can still ride in town on the buggys, cant you?
folks, i've visited harlan county ky. these are some good people. bellman, here, went out of his way to help me once. i'm sure he could help us do the buggy bash if it was decided to be held there. from the park itself, to the 50 acre area down the road. oh, and it has the best views in all of the east coast.

I will be posting our ride/events for 2009 at our Nov. meeting...our main home page has our logo. " An Event Every Month..A Ride Every Weekend" And yes, I am sure an enduro would be doable here...now not knowing much about the type toys, (I mean toys in a good way) you guys ride...I can learn fast. I own a 05 Honda Rubicon..and a 2008 700 Prowler XTX..and this sidexside riding is some of the best I have ever done. What is the norma size of your buggies, width for sure, for our on and off park trails.

Thanks for the kind words Ben....we aim to please..and all we ask if you use our Porta Potties...You aim to..PLEASE. Folks he is right..as of now we are the only city, (small mayberry RFD) that it is legal to ride your toy thru town for gas, food, supplies, lodging, car wash, bank, clinic, etc..go slow, obey all laws, need helmet...and you will be OK. On the Mtn..helmets are not required if you have a roll bar..unless you do a red trail or class 5 truck trail per landowner.

Seems like a nice place but I think probably too far east for the national bash the guys out West would probably not be happy but maybe a nice place for a Northeast Bash and yours is not the only town where it is legal to ride. all the towns along the cheese County trail system in southern Wisconsin have a ATV route through town and allow you to do the same thing's such as gas, food, supplies, lodging, car wash, bank, clinic, etc.. for more information about this trail system go to the thread about the 2009 bash

Tigger your are 100% right on my statement..is should have read...only town IN KY...my bad. Do not agree with the distance thingy...as just a month ago about 30 of us rode Dunbar/goodman area of WI. and loved it. 2 yrs ago..we rode moab...last year...Black Hills of SD..this year WI...next year train/ATV ride in canada....so for good riding...fellowship...most will make the hike...I was only positng our new area, with info that was requested of me. Should have some good news about yet another 92,000 acres of trails by year's end.

Dunbar/goodman area of WI. where is that that's a new one on me, do they allow buggies? is it in one of the five counties up north that allow the side by sides as in LUV pilot program? and you're going to have another 92,000 acres Congratulations I'm glad to hear that. Great work for the sport. As for the distance thing I think we should let people vote on it and let them decide. what other attractions in the area do you have for the families? obviously I can go to the cheese County trail anytime but if I brought the family to your area what else is there to do for them I can't get the whole family of eight in the buggy and at least for now I can't afford three more buggies, do you guys have rental buggies? And things to keep the little woman happy. Without the support of my family I would not be a part of the sport
