I thought id write and tell my impressions of my shock mod.I put raptor atv shocks on the front of my buggy,i found they were kinda soft,i had a lot of sag,but the ride is so much better.(night and day better)if you dont go totaly crazy theyre ok.i can rip around and while they come close to bottoming out, they havnt yet.im not into going off jumps since i dont beleave the buggy can take much of that anyhow.

Ron, I put 120# springs on my Dune and I feel they're a little to soft. It's fine most of the time but the nose contacts the ground on whoops and jumps. If you consider a replacement set of springs get 150#. John (racemybuick) is happy with his. You just need to know the relaxed length and the ID of the ones you have to order replacements. About $75 a pr.

I think theyre like 15 n a half long,i welded brackets to make up for theyre being about three inches short.part of todays ride was to test my welds, its been about thirty years since id used a stick welder,(some ugly welds!)i replaced the bottom mounts also.i like the soft ride thing,im going to leave them as is.i have blaster shocks on the rear, theyre about 13 long and just needed some grinding to fit.i tried to see about putting some pictures off my video, i guess im challenged when it comes to tranfering video,i couldnt make it happen.

The rears were banshee shocks,i ground down the eyes on one side on the bottom ,i wish now i would have just made a new mount but it has worked ok so far. and your probly going to have to make new mounts so you can adapt whatever you feel well work. my banshee shocks feel just right and ive heard blaster shocks also work really well on the rear, also my banshee shocks were like 14 inches and i think the blaster are 13 so it worked for me.i dont know what the chinese guys were thinking, and if this helps i weigh 215 and have one of my kids with me usually and they weigh 40 pounds.
