yes thats a good price...remember if u do a uni you HAVE TO REJET buy both at the same time otherwise u will burn out your motor

You also have to oil the filter with uni oil.

I found a lot of my upgrades on ebay... you can save a ton of money, just make sure it's the real deal.

Air filters can be found on ebay also, just make sure you get some oil.

Measure the opening of your carb to determine the size you need.

You will want to get the 1.5, however you will need to either buy or make a velocity stack "redneck intake" to go with it. It should be at least 6" long.

Do a search on here for redneck intake, there are some very simple and cheap ways to make one.

Here is photo of mine....and a little secret....its not metal. Its a piece of pvc drain pipe with a chrome vinyl decal over it!!

If you have questions, just ask.

I was gonna make fun of the "need to reject" statement, but I figured we all have to start the learning process somewhere.
BabyBear, you will have to learn this stuff like the rest of us, if you are going to own a buggy and maintain it.

Here is a good site explaining the carburetor you have.
http://www3.telus.net/MyScoot/CVcarb.html

Here is a good link on REJET-ING .
http://www.buggypartsnw.com/bpnw-info-center-introduction/11-how-to-rejet-a-carburetor

Also, an explanation on replacing the filter with a UNI.
http://www.buggypartsnw.com/bpnw-info-center-introduction/10-installing-a-uni-filter-air-intake

And a link to a redneck intake thread
https://buggynews.com/topic465.html

I Went to the Home Depot and bought the parts for the Intake.
Still only costs $7.93 with tax in Va.

You cannot make changes to your engine without tuning for those changes. As you replace items that effect flow through the motor, the fuel ratio has to be compensated by swapping jets.

ok, so what jet's should i get if i do this?????

Hey Guys, and i am back, With some plans. Just tell me if you don't like them, or confused on how i am going to do something.

Now what i mean by AC, is Air conditioning, But i am still not sure where i will put the openings to where the Air will come out, i am thinking of installing it onto the dashboard, or even have pipes run on the roof and shoot down at us. But thanks for looking and i hope you like it.

you have big dreams for your buggy, AC? do you plan on putting a windshield and doors on it? If not, then you probably wont feel that much air, and what AC unit will you be running?
