Well , I've got the buggy bug ! I am looking for a two seater that will mostly see trail use, smaller ORV, ATV, and two tracks with an occasional trip to the dunes. Conditions are usually really sandy. Needs to be a CVT (the girlfriend will be driving it 60% of the time) and would like it to run 50-55. Price range, I would like to keep it around $4k-6k, so the Polaris RZR is out of the picture. So far I've looked at the Joyner 250&650 , Carter GTR300, and the Blade 250's. What scares me is I just don't think the 250's and 300's will cut it, and the 650 is most likely going to be too big for a lot of the trails. Well I was thinking , I've got a perfectly good Polaris 680 triple snowmobile engine with clutches, pipes, electronics etc. Although I would rather stick with a 4 stroke I think this engine would have the power needed. So , what rolling chassis companies are out there ? Now I can turn a wrench and do some minor fabrication but can't weld or anything like that. So I'd like to find a complete roller , maybe something that just needs to be wired, plumbed and the engine/drive train fabed. Looking for some opinions.
