i got the fan cover off and valve cover off now i'm looking at the timing mark.. my questions,,, the manual says align mark in engine case to t mark. i have three staight lines, the letter f and the letter t. is the letter t , the t mark? and the lobes should point down. thats the pointy end of the lobe, correct? one more,,, and i will have to turn to the t mark for each valve corret?

thanks all, got em done. fired up ran for a few minutes and died. but at least this time i can push the gas and it goes. before it just died. i have to weld the exhust pipe before i can run her and then be able to check the autochoke,do the valves again, and possibly adjust float.----------thanks again--john
