250 Sahara...... ok..so i turned the air screw back in all theway...then out about 2 turns...I wanted to get things back to normal..... started doing all sorts of things, took off top of carb.. was dripping gas in and was idlling good. put top back on and started pulling hoses off of the acuum system...... WELL LET ME TELL YOU! I dont know why this is.. but it i somewhat of a solution. Again on the drivers side of carb.. there is theintake to carb hose .. and the other one coming off the carb bout 3 inches going to another part on the top ofthe carb( some sort of ciculr shaped part)..... I noticed when i PINCHED it cosed, i reved up and idle awesome...after BACKING OUT the THROTLE screw for once( I have NEVER been able to do this yet). So i was like ,ok, let me clamp this hose so i ca figure some things out... drive it a minute.. WOW.. ive never seen so much power on this thing. I thought i was going to flip going round sharp corners..(luckily its a lil wet on the ground still)....... SO WHAT IS GOING ON!! I dont want to ride around with a brand new machine , niggie rigged ( no offense my fellow black americans) with a c clamp hanging off thwe hose. But seriously, no popping,backfire,dying,sputterin.... it ids runnin great... WHT IS THE REAL SOlUTION with this hose being clamped.. te only thing i noticed is it smells to be running rich....

yep i agree and could be the air cut off valve on your carb causing you the problem. i could try to explain it but would be best for you to go out on the net and look up what the air cut valve does on the cv carburetor.i understand what it does and its purpose but trying to put it into my own words might not come out wright
looks like you are getting closer to solving your problem.

Does anyone have a good idea yet...i do not want to continue running this carb with a pinched hose..... i would rather be able to have them send me a new one!!!! Is it a diaphram in the cvt or the bowl diaphram itself? Or something else \

its not that no one wants to help but all we can do is give you our thoughts and opinions, its not in our hands to look at,meaning actually in hand.some times these carb come from factory with hair line cracks inside them.or it could be a bad diaphragm the only way you are going to know is to take it a apart check the diaphragms for rips, pin hole and that diaphgrams are sealing wright. i know your probably frustrated but didn't i read that doonrunr is taking care of you by getting you a new carb, just hang tight and do the best you can until you get the new one. be lucky you have a good dealer, some of us just had to eat the cost when we had problems starting out. if you do decide to take it a apart to check things just take your time and go slow.
If Glade is sending you a new one, definitely take the old one apart and learn the parts. There will be the pilot and main jets, the float, the needle & clip, the slide, etc. For me, it makes it easier to understand what's going on after I've actually seen the parts. Don't be scared, if you can take it apart, the guys here can help you get it back together.

I have seen the carbs have a casting flaw in the throat of the air inlet, it will be a very small crack just inside where the air box inlet clamps to the carb.
we had a brand new kinroad 250 with the casting flaw and it drove us nuts, we took the carb off and looked in the inlet with a flash light and magnifying glass and found the hairline crack
